in the title role. The Krankies,

traditional elements of pantomime
but with the added surprise of an

cafés. It makes a great base for this new Good Companions adventure which starts on
September Bank Holiday Monday. We enjoy a full day scenic excursion to magnificent Loch
Maree and the traditional Highland settlement of Gairloch. Another day takes us through
beautiful Sutherland where we visit Dunrobin Castle (admission included) which dates back
to the fourteenth century and boasts unique château style architecture. We return via the
Shin Falls, Lairg and Laxford Bridge. We also enjoy a morning in the atmospheric coastal
village of Lochinver. |

From our base at the lovely Hamlet Court Hotel, we venture forth to the charming city of
Kilkenny where entrance is included to the sumptuous twelfth century castle that was
remodelled in the Victorian era. We also take a scenic excursion to Wicklow through the
gorgeous valley of Glendalough, renowned for its breathtaking scenery before heading for
the seaside resort of Bray. Of course, no visit to this part of the Emerald Isle would be complete
without a full day in delightful Dublin, the country’s vibrant and famously friendly capital.

| Join the Good Companions on this magnificent tour of the wonderful West of Ireland.
Our base is the ancient town of Ennis in County Clare, with its distinctive streetscapes linked by
arched passageways and imposing thirteenth century friary. Our excursions take us to
gorgeous Galway with its plethora of quirky shops and lively café culture. We also visit the
spa town of Lisdoonvarna, home to the famous annual matchmaking festival (which
coincides with our October holiday) before exploring the wild beauty of the Burren. A third
tour takes us on a morning excursion to the village of Bunratty. On arrival we enjoy a hot
punch reception and there will be live music in our hotel on at least two nights of our stay.

crossing on the Collintraive ferry and spending time in pretty Rothesay. A third excursion
