| We start our day with a trip to wonderful Waterford, former home to the eponymous
crystal. Perhaps visit the town’s enthralling Museum of Treasures or simply stroll
through the atmospheric ancient streets admiring the eighteenth century architecture.
We move on to Thomastown, historically known as Ballymacandan, a town
on the banks of the River Nore best known for its salmon and trout fishing. |

Excursion 2
Wexford
| Today we embark on a full day excursion to Wexford, a thriving cosmopolitan hub
steeped in heritage and boasting miles of golden beaches. Founded by Vikings in
800 AD, modern Wexford hosts a variety of attractions including numerous churches
and a bustling art centre. |

Excursion 3
Kilkenny
| We enjoy a full day exploring the charming city of Kilkenny. This highlight of our
Hibernian adventure includes a visit to Kilkenny Castle (admission included). This
twelfth century castle sits in extensive parkland and was remodelled in the Victorian
era. Two wings have been restored to their nineteenth century splendour and the
castle also houses the acclaimed Butler Gallery of Contemporary Art. |
