Your Holiday Itinerary:
Wednesday.
| We head for our ferry crossing to Ireland, from where we proceed to
charming Castlebar in County Mayo and check in to the Days Hotel. |

Thursday.
| This morning we venture forth to wonderful Westport with its gracious
Georgian town centre and sumptuous views of Croagh Patrick, the imposing
mountain that has been a site of pilgrimage since time immemorial. In the afternoon
we cross the Michael Davitt Bridge to Achill Island, largest of the Irish islands. |

Friday.
| Our day begins with a visit to Galway. The fascinating winding streets of this
compact and quirky city are packed with speciality shops, welcoming cafés and
hidden treasures. We then make our way to breathtaking Bantry Bay, our base for
the next three nights. |
|

|
Saturday.
| After a leisurely breakfast we board the Harbour Queen ferry to the small
yet spectacular Garnish Island. Renowned for its beautiful gardens and eclectic
architecture, the island abounds with lush flora and fauna and unexpected structures
including a Martello Tower, a Grecian Temple and a Clock Tower. |

Sunday.
| Today we visit the historic town of Killarney, founded two and a half centuries
ago. Perhaps we’ll indulge in a spot of shopping or hop in a jaunting cart and spin
around the town. Later we pause at the tranquil and pretty town of Kenmare. |

|
Monday.
| This morning we bid farewell to Bantry Bay and make our way to Waterford,
former home to the eponymous crystal. Perhaps visit the town’s enthralling Museum of
Treasures or simply stroll through the atmospheric ancient streets admiring the
eighteenth century architecture. We move on to Blessington and Tulfarris, the
impressive hotel and golf resort that is the last of our holiday venues. |

Tuesday.
| No touring holiday of the Emerald Isle would be complete without a day in
dazzling Dublin. This must-see city offers an amazing mix of rich heritage, diverse
shops and cultural attractions. |

 |
|
Wednesday.
| After breakfast we make our way to the ferry and journey home. |
