-The Irish Rover
We’re especially proud of this opportunity for Glentoneers to sample many different facets of the glittering Emerald Isle on this brand new touring holiday for 2010. Staying in three distinctive but equally comfortable hotels in Counties Mayo, Cork and Wicklow we gain a true insight into Irish city and country life past and present, whilst gorging our senses on a series of spectacular attractions including the inimitable gardens and architecture of Garnish Island off Bantry Bay.

    Thursday.
This morning we venture forth to wonderful Westport with its gracious Georgian town centre and sumptuous views of Croagh Patrick, the imposing mountain that has been a site of pilgrimage since time immemorial. In the afternoon we cross the Michael Davitt Bridge to Achill Island, largest of the Irish islands.

    Friday.
Our day begins with a visit to Galway. The fascinating winding streets of this compact and quirky city are packed with speciality shops, welcoming cafés and hidden treasures. We then make our way to breathtaking Bantry Bay, our base for the next three nights.
