Excursion 3
The Aran Islands & The Burren
| Today combines two of Ireland’s most memorable attractions. We visit the rugged
landscape of The Burren with its rolling hills and towering cliffs of limestone. On the
comfortable vessel the MV Tranquility (ticket included) we cross from the port of
Doolin to visit the Aran Islands. One of the last places where Gaelic is still the
language of everyday life, these stunningly beautiful and famously friendly islands
take us back to the Ireland of a bygone age. |
