-Belleek, Donegal & the Marble Arch Caves
|
|
|
| Nestling on the banks of Lough Erne in County Fermanagh, Belleek is a picturesque
village renowned throughout the world for its fine porcelain china. The most
westerly village in Northern Ireland, Belleek is bordered by lush County Donegal in
the Republic, another fascinating feature of this riveting new Glenton tour for 2010.
But the highlight of the holiday must be our visit to the unique Marble Arch Caves
Global Geopark where we glide by boat through a natural underworld of rivers,
waterfalls, winding passages and lofty chambers. An unforgettable experience! |

| A “geopark” is an area recognised by UNESCO to have exceptional geological
heritage. You’ll never forget your visit to this breathtaking region, especially our guided
trip by electric boat along a subterranean river that runs through one of Europe’s finest
showcaves (admission included). Stalactites glisten above us while fragile mineral veils
and underground waterfalls are picked out by dramatic lighting. Today we also allow a
