Historic Carlingford
| Enjoy a relaxing half day excursion to Carlingford, one of Ireland’s best preserved
medieval towns. Nestling between Slieve Foy, Carlingford Lough and the truly
magnificent Mourne Mountains, Carlingford presents a unique blend of natural
beauty, spectacular panoramas, myths and legends. With its defensive walls, narrow
streets and friary, much of the heritage and atmosphere remains today. The
afternoon is yours to explore Bettystown or relax in our lovely hotel. |

Irish Country Life
| Today begins with a visit to Newgrange World Heritage Site (admission included),
one of the oldest and largest neolithic burial chambers in Europe dating back to
3200BC – predating the Egyptian pyramids! We then go deep into the countryside
where a warm welcome awaits you at Causey Farm. Enjoy an Irish cream tea, see
turf cutting, learn how to make soda bread and enjoy traditional live entertainment. |
