- Warner Leisure Hotels

Our friends at Warner Leisure Hotels believe that a relaxing break means different things to different people. That’s why they provide such a wide variety of entertainment and activities at each and every one of their unique locations. And as all these destinations cater exclusively to adults, you can enjoy a well-earned break from the kids or grandchildren. Bliss!

- Great Little Trains of Wales

Thanks to its once great coal and slate mining industry, Wales is still blessed with a number of working smaller gauge railways. Often traversing steep inclines and offering breathtaking views, these ‘Great Little Trains’ are a tribute to the engineers of yester year who built the lines as well as the enthusiastic volunteers who keep these splendid railways running. Our base for this holiday is the Victorian town of Llandrindod Wells, one of Britain’s hidden treasures. Located seven hundred feet above sea level and surrounded by beautiful scenery, it is the perfect spot to explore the unspoilt countryside of Wales.

- Tenby & the Pembrokeshire Coast

Tenby, probably the prettiest seaside town in Wales, was established by the Normans as a fortified town. Most of the old walls remain, enclosing the medieval town behind them. This delightful resort has fantastic blue flag beaches stretching to the north, the west and the south. The town centre is a maze of narrow little streets and in summer the roads are pedestrianised during the day when the bars and restaurants set up al fresco seating. There are plenty of interesting and quirky shops to be found around this pretty town and the neighbouring and very charming village of St Florence makes a wonderful base for our fascinating excursions.

- Llandudno & Welsh Highlands

Llandudno is known as the 'Queen of Welsh Resorts' and with good reason. Lying on a sandy bay between the limestone headlands of Great and Little Orme with Snowdonia towering in the background, it is undoubtedly one of the most elegant seaside towns in the United Kingdom. Enjoy a stroll along the promenade, a cable car ride up to the Orme or explore the Victorian Pier.

- Heart of Wales & the Brecon Beacons

Situated seven hundred feet above sea level and surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery in Wales, Llandrindod Wells is one of Britain’s hidden treasures. It was the Victorians who developed the town into one of the most fashionable spa resorts in Britain. You can still visit the Pump Room where it was once possible to take the mineral rich waters. LlandrindodWells provides the perfect base from which to explore some of the finest unspoilt countryside in Wales.

- North Wales, Chester & the Canal in the Sky

This tour offers an enticing combination of historic city, picturesque coastline and leafy countryside rounded off with a nostalgic train journey. You’ll be based in Wrexham, a vibrant town that nestles in the lower Dee Valley between lush Cheshire plains and the glorious Welsh hills. Our excursions take us to charming Chester, a city that never fails to delight. The old City Walls offer a leisurely two mile stroll affording a bird’s eye view of the River Dee and the beautiful cathedral. For contrast, we set off to admire the North Wales coastline and wonderful Snowdonia National Park. Our final adventure sees us hopping aboard an old-fashioned carriage for a train ride along the banks of the River Dee before a canal trip you’ll never forget!
